UP Board Exam Update, Will Start from 18th February & Finish on 12th March

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPBSE, UP Board) has released a detailed schedule for 10th and 12th board examinations.

Their exam will start from 18th February 2026 & conclude on 12th March 2026. As the Holi festival is between 1st March and 6th March, no exam will be held to celebrate it.

This decision will give students time between exams to relax and prepare for the next subject examination, and also give them time to celebrate the Holi festival.

This time, the exam for both 10th and 12th students will be held simultaneously, which is an important update students need to know. The exam will be taken in two shifts.

Around five million (50 Lakh) students are estimated to appear in the UP board exam. This number was 54.37 Lakh in 2025 & 55 lakh in 2025, showing a slight decline in the number of students appering for the exam.
